At Project Runway Show, Victoria Beckham Nearly Releases Cat From Bag
Victoria Beckham (a.k.a. Posh Spice) had chosen a clear winner by the time all five of Project Runway’s finalists—Chris March, Christian Siriano, Rami Kashou, Sweet P and Jillian Lewis—finished showing their collections in the Tent at Bryant Park this morning. But while speaking to the Daily Transom, the singer and Marc Jacobs muse revealed a bit too much.
“Well, for me personally, there is one designer who is a very clear winner—in my eyes,” Ms. Beckham, 33, the special guest judge at today’s show, told us. “There is one designer which every single piece I saw come out on this runway is something I would wear myself. He made me smile”—upon realizing that she had divulged the sex of her fave fashionista, Ms. Beckham grabbed our arm with her tan, itty-bitty fingers and turned around to see if any Bravo brass had heard her slip—“This designer made me smile,” she added quickly.
If asked to guess which contestant had Ms. Beckham—who was judging today alongside designer Michael Kors, model Heidi Klum and Elle fashion director Nina Garcia—flashing those pearly whites, we would have to go with Mr. Siriano. Though he’s only 21 years old, Mr. Siriano seems a true phenom and, judging by the overwhelming applause he garnered at the show, a crowd favorite.
Christian is a phenom but I would not rule out Chris March. He is innovative and often presents a stunning point of view. Rami is also very talented but seems stuck in the 'drape and twist' rut on PR but he may have overcome that to show a strong collection. Jillian is amazing and Sweet P shows flashes of brilliance. Bravo designers! Way to make it work!
I love Christain's work! He is my fav! I love him and chris together as a team! They could make a fabulous line together!
Christian is a winner no matter what. He is a phenom and a prodigy. It comes so easy and his work is meticulous! He is the stuff design is made of!!!!!
Wait, I thought Sweet P was eliminated. She comes back?
Christian is going to win for sure. He is so talented at such a young age that he may be one of those great designers. I love Christian I hope he wins. But if he doesn't I would want Jullian to win she is pretty cool herself though i think she won't because of the comment above!
Sorry but I just looked at the pictures of the collections and Christian was a big disappointment. So overblown and full of ruffles. Beckham would never wear those outfits. Everyone of Rami and most of Chris' collection were great. Jillian had some good ideas and then messed them up with some strange accessories. I think Rami is the one who will win.
From early on, I felt as though Christian would probably win. However, after viewing the colletions...Christian took it one step too far with waaaaay too much in the way of ruffles.
Jillian? What happened to her? Same thing, she went overboard. Some of her pieces are beautiful, but again...she didn't stay true to herself and she tried a bit too hard.
I belive Rami will win...hand's down.
Having said that, they are all very very talented with great futures.

No Sweet P is not back officially. They show the last 5 designers' lines so that i photos from Fashion Week are released, it will throw people off. She and Chris were showing, but not being judged. I saw her line, and it wasn't that great. They basically said she was copying someone else, but not as well. Christian's line is up on his website. I would have to disagree with the previous poster. I think it was great. Also, supposedly, the winner is already announced/leaked online.
I enjoyed most of works but Christian Siriano's conquered my heart... As for Victoria- she's doing a big deal- promoting the brand of Beckham's name.
